Part of the lighting of a building is given by the light that the building emits from the inside, as the offices turn on or off, and it is something that we can not control, but it is important to take it into account when designing the light of a facade.
In the Juan de Arona Building, we decided to design a pair of hanging light sculptures for the atria that joined the towers, which would be seen from the outside as well as the interior. For the rest of the façade, the corners were framed with lines of light and the main portico with a luminous plane that surrounds the counter. We create a perfect balance between luminous and opaque planes that harmonize with the building, and the piece of art with light happened to be the logo of the building.
